Shevy Friedman, PT, DPT​​

Shevy is a highly trained, compassionate licensed physical therapist with over 10 years of experience who provides top-quality, evidenced based physical therapy services to infants, children and adolescents. Shevy graduated from Touro College School of Health Sciences in 2004.  Her pediatric training in the classroom and clinics were strongly based in Neuro-Developmental Techniques (commonly known as NDT). After graduation, Shevy worked for over a year in acute care at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), then transitioned to pediatrics.  From 2007 until 2012, Shevy worked with the Baltimore City Public School System. Work experiences over the past several years have included helping children with a wide variety of concerns including cerebral palsy,  developmental delays, pain, muscular dystrophy, torticollis, autism, cancer, Down syndrome, gross motor delays, scoliosis and spinal cord injuries. She has expanded her knowledge with Kinesotaping application.

 Shevy's specific clinical interests include neuromuscular disorders, muscle tone management and core stability. She has attended additional specialty training in neurodevelopmental therapy (NDT), sensory integration, adaptive equipment, Brain Gym and Cuevas Medek Exercises (CME I & II). Shevy is currently a certified CME Level II therapist following her trainings by Simona DiMarchi in Charlotsville, VA and Toronto, ON.
